This one is kinda old now.. but I just wanted to spread the Tom Waits love :)

..Also, this was one of the first illustrations I coloured in Photoshop. Hopefully I’ve improved since then.

This was very loosely based on my own family (I stress the word ‘loosely’ as it is not the most flattering portrayal) :)

Drawn using UniPin drawing pens, which are very good for cross hatching.

This was my take on American youth culture, looking specifically at the 50s.

This was a self portrait I did for a project on ‘identity’. 

I drew it in biro, coloured in photoshop, then layered a few textures over the top.

Illustration for one of my favourite films, ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ ..It was hard to try and come up with something new as there is a lot of Royal Tenenbaums fan artwork about, and the film itself has some very striking imagery in it.

..I intend to produce an illustrated book based on the film as a part of my degree work.

Fantastic Mr. Fox! ..More Wes Anderson.. more layering etc.

I’m quite pleased with the outcome :)

Yet another self indulgent Wes Anderson poster, this time for ‘The Life Aquatic- With Steve Zissou’.

..quite a lot of layering went into this one as you can see.
